THE BAND

Merge is a dynamic band that combines a diverse group of musicians from various musical backgrounds.

We play a variety of music styles including: Rock, Pop, Funk, Soul and Blues

Victoria VaLead
Victoria VaLead - Lead Vocals

Mezzo soprano singer/Songwriter-- Guitar- violin- Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona Victoria has been singing and performing since a small child for various productions, gigs and charities. She has written and released several songs of her own which can be found on Spotify and all platforms and have been played on both radio and podcast. Graduating with a minor in music she also has a background in dance and musical theater which adds to her performance persona. She has performed with various bands and solo all around the valley and a broad including Mexico and more recently Taipei, Taiwan. Like and follow for more info with Merge Band @Victoryahdavina

Ed Gibson
Ed Gibson - Keyboards, Sax, Guitar, Vocals

Vocals, Keyboards, Guitar, saxophone. Professional musicians for 50 years Worked with Danny Thomas, Confunkshun, Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond, The Coster’s, Saxophonist on song (Peppermint Twist) Has played from coast to coast and tours all over Europe.

Dave Ladenburger
Dave Ladenburger - Bass, Vocals

Dave grew up in Lincoln Nebraska. Started playing clubs in the Lincoln area at age 14. After graduation, went on the road and traveled throughout Canada and the US playing with several different bands playing anything from jazz, R&B to Rock n Roll. Influenced by Jaco Pastorius, Larry Graham and James Jamerson. Has been playing in Arizona for the last 20 years with several local Phoenix bands. Now residing in Coolidge Az.

Micheal (Hutch) Hutchison
Micheal "Hutch" Hutchison - Drums, Percussion, Vocals

Hutch started playing in High School band and rock bands in the Los Angeles area all through the 1980’s Stepped away from performing to raise his son. Moved to Phoenix and started

again in 2000. Hutch has been in the “Walking Cane Mark Band” . who toured all over America. The Hoodoo Caster’s. Among others

Jim Elam
Jim Elam Guitar

Jim began playing guitar at the age of 15. He studied classical guitar at the University of North Carolina and at Arizona State University where he received his master’s degree in music. After graduating, Jim switched to electric guitar and played for 20 years with several Phoenix area blues, soul and alternative bands including: "The Lynwood Flyers", "Cadillac Assembly Line” and “The Bliss Kickers”. Jim recently retired from a full-time faculty position at Scottsdale Community College where he taught Computer Information Systems for 31 years.
